This is Alfie Knight from Quantum Horizon Studios announcing our new game called ChromaNex which is entering the Pre-production stage. I'm here to talk about what ChromaNex is all about.
About ChromaNex:
ChromaNex is a new first person 3D puzzle game set aboard the ISS Chroma which is inspired on portal. ChromaNex will take the idea of using different colours from a small idea and concept made by other indie games and push it further. With the games main mechanic being the Chroma Blaster which can absorb and transfer colours between different objects, each colour having its own unique physical property. You take on the role of an engineer by the name of Nova Kaelith who has to repair parts of the ship after it had collided with an asteroid.
ChromaNex is part of a university group project for the games studio module, this game is going to be developed in unreal engine 5 and planned to be released on PC(Steam). This is a massive upgrade from Luminex which was developed in unity and in 2D.
This is all I can share for now but I will be posting more updates throughout the development stage.
